This book was so great I'm not sure I know how to describe it though I feel strangely compelled to do so.I think all I can say is that it blends together so many things we've seen in so many other fantasy stories (not necessarily the best or our favorites) and it mixed it together with such delicious melancoly (which I don't even really like but here it was just so perfect) to create a bittersweet read that really shook me.One more thing, I thought it was children's fantasy, walked into it completely unprepared! It's definitely adult's (not for mature content just for thematic)Looking forward to add more mr Gaiman to my list!
