Lari lari, lari lari lari.

Are you my mummy?

Prom and Prejudice - Elizabeth Eulberg I picked this book up because it was short. It was past 1am, I had to get up at 7, I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to start a book and not finish right away. I honestly didn't think much of it, I thought "oh well, must be a cute parody". The thing is this book, even though we all know the story somewhat, made me react so unexpectedly that I was thrown away by it. What a refreshing perspective, really. When I read Pride and Prejudice (and most of the regency novels that I tend to like) I always think "I was born on the wrong period" and after I read this, I was happy to think "well, maybe not". Thank you Elizabeth (:
